Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning or exchanging products and obtaining refunds. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns on most products purchased from MavoAutoCity if the following conditions are met:

  • Timeframe: Returns must be made within 30 days from the date of delivery.
  • Condition of the Item: The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all tags and labels still attached.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt, order confirmation email, or proof of purchase is required for all returns or exchanges.

Certain items may not be eligible for returns or refunds, including but not limited to:

  • Final Sale Items: Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page or during checkout are not eligible for return.
  • Personalized Products: Products that have been customized or personalized (such as monogrammed or embroidered items) cannot be returned unless defective.
  • Hygiene-Related Products: Underwear, swimwear, or products that come into direct contact with the body may not be eligible for returns due to hygiene reasons.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to info@mavoautocity.com or call 302-668-1954 to inform us of your intention to return the product.

  2. Provide Order Details: Include the order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for your return. Please also include your contact information so we can assist you promptly.

  3. Return Authorization: Once we review your request, we will provide you with Return Authorization Instructions and a return address. Please note that returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or delayed.

  4. Return Shipping: You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to a defective product, an error on our part, or a damaged item during shipment.

  5. Pack the Item: Carefully pack the item in its original packaging (if possible) to avoid damage during return shipping. Please include a copy of the proof of purchase or the order confirmation with your return.


3. Return Shipping

  • Customer Responsibility: Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, and the return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  • Return Labels: In some cases, we may provide a prepaid return label or reimburse return shipping costs if the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., damaged, incorrect, or defective items).
  • Tracking: We recommend that you use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance when returning items. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return shipping process.

4. Refunds and Exchanges

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your return. Please allow 5-10 business days for us to process your return once it has been received.

Refunds

  • If your return is approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • Processing Time: Refunds may take 5-7 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment processor.
  • Restocking Fees: We do not charge a restocking fee for most returns. However, for certain items (such as large or bulky products), a restocking fee may apply, and we will notify you in advance.

Exchanges

  • If you wish to exchange a product for a different size, color, or item, we recommend that you return the original item and place a new order for the desired product.
  • If the exchange is due to a product defect or our error, we will cover the cost of shipping for the replacement product.

5. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product. We will cover the cost of return shipping for defective or damaged items, and we will provide a full refund or send a replacement product at no additional charge.

Please include the following information when reporting defective or damaged items:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs of the damage or defect (if applicable)

Once the issue is confirmed, we will process your return and send a replacement or refund accordingly.


6. Refunds for Shipping Costs

In the case of returns due to defects or our error (such as sending the wrong product), we will refund the full cost of the original shipping charges. If you are returning an item for any other reason, the original shipping charges are non-refundable.


7. International Returns

If you are returning an item from outside the United States, please be aware that international shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using an international tracking service to ensure that the return reaches us safely.

Additionally, customs fees and import duties may apply to returned items, and these charges are the responsibility of the customer.


8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after 7 business days, please check with your bank or credit card company, as it may take additional processing time.
